Thursday Throwdown

**Each Thursday I'll offer quick points about sports news from the week and through the weekend**

Junior
Player of the decade in my mind with all the steroids that overshadowed that time
Cue the Griffey highlight tape

Im-Perfect Game
It was a close call but the runner was clearly out..You can't take away a guys chance at infamy..Instant replay is now a must

Lord Stanley's Cup
Blackhawks will finish it off in 5

Sounders FC
That first season feels more and more like a fluke as the losses continue to pile up

THE THROWDOWN: NBA Finals
Russell, Chamberlain, Bird, Magic, Baylor, West, Cousy..the list of greats continue from the old Lakers Celtics Rivalries. All though these teams aren't that intense its still going to be an awesome series. Kobe is in the zone and even if Bynum isn't a huge factor I think Pau and Kobe can run over the guys from Beantown. The X-factors for Boston will be Rondo and Big Baby Glen Davis. Rondo could have a huge series with the slower Derek Fisher guarding him and Davis's play off the bench will also be important. I really want a great series but I have a feeling that the set up of the games 2-3-2 (Lakers 2, Celtics 3, Lakers 2) the Celtics aren't going to be able to win three in a row at home.

Lakers win in 6
