Should the Hawks think about bringing Terrell Owens to Seattle? This idea was brought up a couple weeks back and there was speculation that Owens could in fact end up in Seattle or one of the other teams rumored to add him. All the teams, including the Seahawks said thanks but no thanks, not willing to take a risk on an aging wideout.
NO TO!
The argument against bringing Owens to Seattle is fairly strong.
Immature and a locker room plague
Way past his prime (36 years old)
Wants too much money

Yes the Monday Night Football signing by TO all those years ago still fires up Seattle fans and many are saying they will boo until they're red in the face if he comes to Sea town.
But on a more serious note these other points are real concerns for a team in a rebuilding stage with a new coach. You would think by now that Owens would be able to figure out being mature at his old age but the reality is some people are just like that their whole lives and TO might be one of those. I could just see it now, TO vs TJ these two would have to get into it at some point during the season right?
Speed Speed Speed! That is what the Hawks need in their depleted receiving core and what we saw from Owens last year was far from top end wide out speed. Last I checked we already have a slow big body at reciever (Mike Williams).
Money...when Owens was interviewed by NFL network he made the comment that he wanted compensation relevant to a number two receiver. That figure is somewhere around 4 to 5 million a year and I just don't see the Hawks putting that kind of money out when they can settle with the news guys like Tate and Williams making lower end money.
YES TO!
The yes side is based a little more on risk but has big potential as well
Takes some pressure off Housh
TO can bring TD's
The Pete Carroll Factor
Upgrades a very poor recieving core
These points are good only if we can get Owens for the right price. With little to no interest in him from other teams I honestly believe he would sign a 1 to 2 million dollar contract that had incentives paying up to 3 or 4 million and for that price I think we can do it.
The second you sign TO Housh's shoulders will feel lighter. TJ is a great receiver but by no means can he carry an offense by himself. With little to no run support, a weak receiveing core, and a gun shy QB Housh was put in a no win situation last year. With TO at number 2 you get a little more room for TJ to work with.
TO didn't see the end zone much last year but lets be honest the Bills weren't the right fit for him and in years past he had a great nose for the endzone. Even the addition of just 3 or 4 TD's could really help the Hawks stagnate offense.
Pete Carroll likes big receivers and he uses them well, just take a look at any USC game for the last 10 years. At 6' 3" 230 lbs TO is a big reciever and a big target for Hassleback who had a lot of trouble hitting HIS guys last season (17 picks). I know its not USC anymore but Carroll knows how to deal with super star personalities and hes a players coach through and through which is perfect for Owens. Also TO has played in the West Coast offense so it wouldnt be hard for him to pick up the offense.
Heres the current depth at wideout: TJ Houshmanzadah, Deion Branch, Deon Butler, Golden Tate, Ben Obomanu, Mike Williams... I'll stop now
9 wins over the last two years just isn't Seahawks football and sometimes you need to take risks to get rewarded. This could be one of those opportunities. You could agrue both sides of it and both have their valid points. For me personally I think for the right price this would be a good move for the Hawks and could help them restart their franchise on the road to success. As the offseason progresses look for the Seahawks to possibly get a little more aggressive with this idea.
